What’s your favorite thing about Chi-AWE?
The community! Chi-AWE is dedicated to creating a strong network and authentic sisterhood that I wouldn’t have been able to find anywhere else. It’s really helped me come out of my shell and forge lasting and meaningful friendships.
What’s a fun fact about you?
I play field hockey and I’m in an adult club team here in Chicago called Windy City Field Hockey Club. It’s my favorite way of staying in shape and getting out my stress from the week.
If not at a Chi-AWE event, where can we find you?
Running rehearsals on Illinois Institute of Technology and VanderCook College of Music. campus or at a local coffee shop working on a project and sipping on a cafe mocha with oat milk.
Professional Bio
Junipero Cruz is an Artistic Director at 33rd Street Productions Theatre Troupe at IIT/VCM. They will begin their BFA in Stage Management in Fall 2024.
