What’s your favorite thing about Chi-AWE?
The connections! When I first moved to Chicago I was trying every way I could to find friends and get settled in as soon as possible. Upon discovering Chi-AWE and its diverse programs, numerous networking opportunities and community doors opened up. The extensive network Chi-AWE engages in attests to the profound value it brings to the community. This organization's contributions are reciprocated by other organizations and individuals- creating a lively community.
What’s a fun fact about you?
I take reduce, reuse, recycle very seriously! I even made a pair of earrings out of my own wisdom teeth!
If not at a Chi-AWE event, where can we find you?
At home in my studio sewing away the day.

Jean Elliott is self employed as the founder and designer of Tanjerine Studios. She received a BS in Product and Industrial Design from the University of Oregon.
